Memory Stones

October 29, 2015

To me, they’re “Memory Stones.”

I love to drive through the cemetery and honor the people behind the “Memory Stones.” How appropriate that I was drawn there, just before Halloween.

Have you ever explored the meaning behind this annual celebration? According to Wikipedia…

“Halloween or Hallowe'en, also known as Allhalloween, All Hallows' Eve, or All Saints' Eve, is a yearly celebration observed in a number of countries on 31 October, the eve of the Western Christian feast of All Hallows' Day. It begins the three-day observance of Allhallowtide, the time in the liturgical year dedicated to remembering the dead, including saints (hallows), martyrs, and all the faithful departed believers.”

Halloween is about a whole lot more than costumes and candy. It’s about Mom, Dad, Grandma, Grandpa, Patty, David, Edna and Brian… real people who have impacted my life.

Who are YOU remembering this All Hallows’ Eve?
